Which Fashion House Serves the Best Snacks at Appointments?

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

One of Racked's favorite people in the world, Maria Luisa's Robin Schulié, has been in the throes of resort buying appointments in Paris over the last couple of days. We've been avidly following his Twitter feed and noticed, hm, there's not much mention of clothes—instead, Schulié has been tweeting photos of all the great snacks that fashion houses are laying out for their VIP buyers. Yum.

Check out the "ubiquitous trio" of Ladurée macarons, Dyptique candles, and a bouquet of roses at Thakoon, above. And click through our gallery of Schulié's photos from the last 24 hours to see the super-cute espresso-and-heart-shaped-cookie served up at Theysken's Theory, the gorgeous basket of pastries at Roland Mouret, and—the food Schulié deems yesterday's best—Proenza Schouler's cookies from Paris' vegetarian fave Bob's Kitchen.
