Here's some sad fashion news from New York: Seven New York, that bastion of super-cool in SoHo that sells hard-to-find labels including Damir Doma, Bernhard Willhelm, and the cool pieces from Raf Simons may be forced to shutter. The New York Times' Eric Wilson reports that ongoing scaffolding over the storefront has decreased foot traffic along that stretch of Mercer between Prince and Spring so much that they can't even pay designers: "[Co-owner] Mr. Sang said he spent the weekend raising $7,000 from friends to pay a bill owed to Mr. Simons, with the hope of getting a new delivery."
