Candy store proprietress Dylan Lauren, daughter of Ralph, is getting hitched this Saturday and, turns out, her designing dad called up an old employee to get some wedding dress tips. The NY Daily News reports that Lauren Sr. consulted with Vera Wang, queen of all wedding gowns, on Dylan's dress. "Vera helped Mr. Lauren with the dress," a source to the NYDN. "She got her career start at Ralph Lauren and felt very honored to help with Dylan's wedding gown." The final result? "It has a single, angular, over-the-shoulder strap. The insider says the flattering gown is "a fitted and straight" design with embroidery around the bottom and a little fishtail hem.' The heiress is planning to complement her off-white gown with a Cartier diamond tiara and earrings, and a 'very long antique lace veil.'" [NYDN]
