Joe Fresh Opens in East Hampton

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Contemporary Canadian clothing retailer Joe Fresh finally landed Stateside this weekend—but they didn't open shop in a major city like Chicago, New York, or LA. Nooo. Joe Fresh flung open its doors in the summer-happy town of East Hampton, Long Island. Our sister site Curbed Hamptons reports the new location is "attempting to lure customers to their "colorful polos, bikinis, cover-ups and accessories" with prices that range from $4 to $69. They'll also be bribing potential customers with free Coolhaus ice cream as well as complimentary pedicab rides to the beach." We're in. [Curbed Hamptons]
