Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

At last night's dinner party at the palatial Upper East Side Fifth Avenue home of Lia Sophia Creative Director Elena Kiam and husband, Lia Sophia President Tory Kiam, guests—including stylist Mary Alice Stephenson, Robert Verdi, Alexandra Lebenthal, Dani Stahl, Charlotte Ronson, and Tinsley Mortimer—feasted on lobster salad, steak, and made-to-order crepes—all while fawning over the celebrity-fave jewelry line's latest Red Carpet and Special Edition Collections.

Our favorite highlight of the evening? When Avenue magazine Editor-in-Chief, the always-dapper Peter Davis disassembled the Lia Sophia jewelry adorning the Sebastian Lee foral centerpieces and put it around his neck. Tres chic! Check out our gallery of selects from the dinner party, along with images of some of the new Lia Sophia statement pieces, after the jump.
