Miu Miu Takes Over Five Floors of the Park Hyatt for 800 Guests

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Last night, Miu Miu transformed five floors of the Park Hyatt Hotel in Shanghai and transported more than 800 guests to a 1940s-themed wonderland—a supper-club style dinner party, a fall 2011 fashion show, a special performance by Florre, and a variety show featuring jazz shoes, an illusionist, and a cabaret. Check out some photos from the festivities in our gallery, above.
