NEW YORK—Express managed to break the Guinness World Record on Saturday for the most people to ever walk a runway. The stunt preceded their 2011 holiday show in Times Square, and the brand invited anyone who wanted to participate to step right up. The total number of models: 1243, which is an insane amount compared to the previous record of 521, set by Galeries Lafayette in Paris in 2010. [Getty]
LONDON—Amy Winehouse was found dead yesterday in her home, and to pay tribute to the influence the singer had on fashion, here's a slideshow of her legacy. The shots include photos of Winehouse and models, like Isabeli Fontana in French Vogue in 2008, portraying her, and runway snaps of big, giant bouffant hair and cat-eye makeup. [Fashionista]
NEW YORK—In celebration of today's first gay-marriage ceremonies in New York, Simon Doonan told the Times all about his wedding to Jonathan Adler that was not the "bedazzled blow-out of all time." Instead, it was a quiet vow exchange at San Francisco's City Hall in 2008, followed by a ceremony at the Clift Hotel, and then a trip to Barneys. [NYT]
BEVERLY HILLS—The Beckhams received 14 pushchairs (or strollers, if you will) and tons of other baby gifts from different companies after the birth of their daughter, Harper Seven. Instead of keeping all that, they've been donating them to charity drop-offs near their California home. [Daily Mail UK]
