McQueen's Will

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

The details of Alexander McQueen's will were just released, and in it, he left 50,000 pounds—that's almost $82,000—for the continuing care of his dogs. (His suicide note had included "Please look after my dogs.") The remainder of the money from his estate goes to his three sisters, two brothers, two housekeepers, his godson, neices, nephews, and to two animal charities. [Fashionologie]
