More details emerge today about casting "buyers" from H&M and Saks Fifth Avenue on the upcoming reality show Fashion Star, which is set for a 2012 debut. Turns out that the "buyers" on the show aren't actually buyers—they just play them on TV. Nicole Christie and Terron Schaefer from H&M and Saks, respectively, are actually marketing and communications execs for the companies. You know, for the sake of transparency, we think reality shows should have to change their genre name to, like, here-are-some-people-who-may-or-may-not-be-using-their-own-names-doing-stuff shows.
