Central Saint Martins grad and purveyor of maximalist fashion Louise Gray launched a capsule jewelry collaboration with British-based online retailer ASOS this week, with a range of nine gold-plated pendants, rings and earrings.
The collection features googley-eyed earrings, heart-shaped rings and pendants with containers of French fries and anthropomorphic lions and captures the same sense of over-the-top fun and colorful pop playfulness that Gray's ready-to-wear lines have become known for. This is one of a number of planned designer collaborations as part of ASOS's ASOS Inc. program, a long-term incubator initiative intended to foster and encourage developing designers. Stay tuned for more Louise Gray collaborations in the future, as she's got a full footwear range planned with Pollini creative director and all-round shoe genius Nicholas Kirkwood.
Prices for the Louise Gray for ASOS collection start at $60 for stud earrings and continue to $285 for pendant necklaces. —Ana Kinsella
