Allure Launches Ecommerce

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

When Allure recommends a product, it usually gets bought, which is why the magazine has just launched an ecommerce section on their website. Editor-in-chief Linda Wells says that a comment by Donatella Versace got her wheels turning, as the designer once told her that she buys everything that the magazine recommends. [WWD]
