Christian Louboutin's e-commerce site just celebrated its first birthday, and Glamour sat down with the site's manager Andrea Hadfield to ask the hard questions, like what the strangest personal request she's received has been. Her response: "Most recently we were asked if we could please make a Michael Jackson tribute heel, and if we could make it in a women’s size 13." She also talks about how to navigate the always-unpredictable and seemingly random sizing of Christian Louboutin, in what state the largest online purchase came from (it's the exact opposite of where you're thinking), and what it's like helping out brides.
That giant purchase mentioned above? It came from Missouri. Oh, and it was for $10,000 worth of shoes. That isn't really so crazy given the price points, but is actually crazy because it went to Missouri and not to Kim Kardashian. As for more strange requests:
