French purveyor of luxury luggage and travel goods Goyard is making a deeper foray into the accessories world with its new line of silk scarves. Each scarf features Goyard's signature “Y” chevron pattern and comes in orange, blue, white, and pink.
We personally love it in the orange colorway because it reminds us of the 80's arcade game Q*bert. Don't you think the print is reminiscent of the pyramid that he bounces on? If you're asking yourself the chicken or the egg question, Goyard has been around since 1853. But maybe the real question to ask is, could the video game designer of Q*bert be taking inspiration cues from Goyard?
We digress. Back to the luxe scarves. Currently they are available for purchase from the Paris boutique, but we'll keep you posted if they land stateside.
