Not only can anyone be a blogger nowadays, but apparently, anyone can also be a movie star. The Times posted a lengthy article yesterday about personal-style blogger Bebe Zeva of the blog Fated to Be Hated. For those not in the know, Zeva is 18 years old, is based out of Vegas, and used to wear flared jeans and Hollister T-shirts in high school, but now takes pictures in themed outfits—one of which she calls "Cyber Goth." And as made very clear on her blog, she owns a million necklaces.
The Times caught up with Zeva in Williamsburg when she was in town for the premiere screening of the documentary all about her, Bebe Zeva. The video was produced by Mr. Lin and Megan Boyle, and will be sold on their website MDMAfilms. It's an hour-and-a-half long, and will probably be filled with quotes like these: "I started out as one cliché, preppy, and since then I've cycled through a series of other clichés. Now I'm trying to create a new cliché for the next generation to imitate."
