Comedy writer Bonnie Datt once bought a chainmail vest "for clubbing"—a purchase she later came to lament, once she realized that chainmail isn't particularly slimming. Inspired by this, she now spends her spare time asking famous people to dish about purchases which they initially loved—but ended up regretting, for Buyer's Remorse.

Actress Michelle Trachtenberg has appeared in some of television's more unique dramas—Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Six Feet Under, Gossip Girl—and we're about to see her playing a drug dealer on Weeds. As a red carpet regular, who is always well coiffed, we wondered what, if anything, Michelle has ever had Buyer's Remorse about.

Racked: Can you tell us about a time you had Buyer's Remorse?

Michelle Trachtenberg: I bought a crop top recently, because it's all the rage. It was grey—like a heather grey T-shirt—but it ended here (she demonstrates high on her midriff), and that's so wrong. I really just can't. It was returned immediately. There is no reason why your belly should be bare at lunch during the day.
