This fall, Barneys New York is pulling out the big guns for its ad campaigns—not only have they scored a leading lady in getting ex-Vogue Paris editor Carine Roitfeld (and also enlisted her famous spawn) to model in its print campaign, the store has snagged the (now ubiquitous) Lady Gaga for its holiday ads, which will be called Gaga's Workshop.
The campaign will bring together the creative minds at Barneys, Gaga, artists Eli Sudbrack and Christophe Hamaide Pierson of Assume Vivid Astro Focus, and Mugler creative director Nicola Formichetti. Together, the team will create a Gaga-esque Santa's Workshop—and, wait, get this—that will take over an entire floor (fifth floor, men's) of Barneys' Madison Avenue flagship store in Manhattan. A Gaga Santa-land at Barneys on Madison starting in November? This may be the most exciting thing to happen to Christmas since Rudolph.
