Did Abercrombie & Fitch's attempt at a publicity stunt—its public offer to pay off Mike The Situation Sorrentino—backfire? CNN is reporting that following last night's offer to fork over cash in exchange for Sorrentino never wearing Abercrombie clothes again, the company's stock has taken a tumble. "The stock price for Abercrombie & Fitch (ANF) fell nearly 10% Wednesday. It was the first trading session after the clothing retailer offered "The Jersey Shore" star Michael "The Situation" Sorrentino and other members of the hit MTV reality show "substantial payment" if they stopped wearing Abercrombie-branded clothes."
