Nacho Figueras Trades a Horse for a Hog in RL Black Label Denim

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Ok, Argentine polo player and Ralph Lauren Black Label model Nacho Figueras isn't technically riding a Harley, but he does seem to have swapped a steed for a speedy motorcycle. For the ad campaign of Ralph Lauren's new Black Label Denim line, which launches today, Figueras is seen sporting threads from the collection while riding a motorcycle. Some may be thinking does Figueras look more "James Dean or Jason Priestley?" To that we reply with another quote from Clueless. "Carpe diem, ok? You looked hot in it." 'Nuff said on that.

Black Label Denim features a variety of washes and treatments that include whiskering and abrasions, wax coating, oven baking, nicking, dyeing, and pigment staining and coating. The collection ranges $225-$450 for jeans; $80-$350 for t-shirts and shirts; and $395-$1,295 for outerwear. Highlights include modern interpretations on classic pieces such as straight-fit jeans, chambray work shirts, a denim peacoat, and the Circuit denim biker jacket. As the seasons change, expect to see more cozy knits, leather shirts and outerwear, and even sport coats made out of denim, naturally.
