F**k Yeah Menswear Lands a Book Deal

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Late last year, a new voice in menswear burst onto the blogosphere—in a few short stream-of-consciousness freestyle posts, Fuck Yeah Menswear became one of the most-talked-about blogs in the fashion Tumblr cult. After a good streak, the FYM bloggers seemed to go on hiatus in December 2010, only resurfacing at sporadic intervals to post a handful of times between February and August of this year.

Fans of the hilarious menswear blog send-up site will be glad to hear that the anonymous funnymen behind FYM have just landed a book deal. Yup, Fuck Yeah Menswear is going to be a book. Publishers Marketplace reports:

F**K YEAH MENSWEAR, based on the Tumblr of the same name, a send-up of and tribute to the bizarre and colorful world of modern menswear, featuring freestyle fashion-inspired verses, photos, and illustrations, to Matthew Benjamin for Touchstone, by Monika Verma at Levine Greenberg Literary Agency (World).
