Stylist Phillip Bloch Tells off Man For Calling Two Women Fat, All While in Elevator With the Village People's Cowboy

Who says all fashion superstars are size-ists? Celebrity stylist Phillip Bloch, a front-row fixture at fashion weeks around the world whose client lists have included Halle Berry, Sandra Bullock, Salma Hayek, Nicole Kidman, Drew Barrymore, and Jennifer Lopez, was in an elevator Tuesday night at New York's Standard Hotel with Randy Jones (a.k.a. the cowboy from The Village People) when a random guy in the elevator with them shouted at two women: "No fat people allowed in the elevator; only people who threw up their dinner can fit."

The New York Daily News reports:

According to our spy, the snarky comment caused Jones to burst into laughter, but Bloch took offense. He insisted the smart-ass apologize to the embarrassed duo. The elevator operator concurred, and the chastened heel offered an apology and an explanation of sorts: He'd had "too much tequila at dinner." The women refused to get in the elevator, nonetheless, and our source says, um, four slim riders took their places instead.
