Why Not? Annie Leibovitz Is Throwing the Kardashians a Party

Photographer Annie Leibovitz shot the Kardashian's ad for their Sears Kollection, and has now also decided to throw them a party at her New York photo studio in Greenwich Village on September 6, because, you know, one big-name party this month—Kim's wedding, of course—just isn't enough.

We don't mean to rain on their parade, but what exactly are we celebrating? The collection launched on the 17th, and it was available for pre-order with a 30% discount attached before it even hit stores. And let's not forget that one of the bags looks like a Botkier knockoff, and its removal from the Sears website may or may not have been the result of a friendly little cease and desist. But really, what we wouldn't give to be a fly on the wall for this one.
