Comedy writer Bonnie Datt once bought a chainmail vest "for clubbing"—a purchase she later came to lament, once she realized that chainmail isn't particularly slimming. Inspired by this, she now spends her spare time asking famous people to dish about purchases which they initially loved—but ended up regretting, for Buyer's Remorse.

After Law & Order's cancellation, we were thrilled to learn that the show's Alana de la Garza would be reprising her role as Assistant D.A. Connie Rubirosa on Law & Order LA. Unfortunately, despite including one of our favorite characters, the new series didn't last nearly as long as its predecessor. On both shows, as well as in her Garnier ads and red carpet visits, the gorgeous and talented de la Garza always comes off as cool, confident and very put together. So we were surprised to discover that her buyer's remorse story was style-oriented—but less so when we learned its charming details.
Racked: Alana can you tell us something you had buyer’s remorse about?
Alana de la Garza: I'd have to go with the three pair of socks, worn like a rainbow leg muff. Just so the top rim of each would represent absolutely every color I had on that day. Some of my faves were pink, yellow, and —the oh so lovely—soft purple!
Racked: We're guessing this was when you were a kid and not recently?
Alana de la Garza: As a kid...somewhere around seventh grade. Oh Lord the regrets!
