Thursday Friday Doesn't Care Who Sues Them: Launches New Handbag Collection Screenprinted With Chanel Purses

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Remember those Hermes Birkin screenprinted tote bags by Thursday Friday that we told you about last December? Remember how Thursday Friday got sued by Hermes over co-opting the image? Well, we thought Thursday Friday would've gotten all cease-and-desisted out from that experience, but we were wrong.

Check out the company's brand-new tote: the Diamond Series—a line of totes and pochettes emblazoned with an image of the Chanel classic flap handbag. If you want one, get it now before Chanel gets mad and sues or before Thursday Friday sells out—whichever comes first. The new totes bags come in two sizes, priced at $65 and $90, and the small pochette (with a pom-pom!) is priced at $35.
