One of the most important behind-the-scenes exposes about the model industry in the 1990s was Michael Gross' book Model: The Ugly Business of Beautiful Women. In it, Gross lays bares the dirty underbelly of the modeling world—the drugs, the pimps, the dirty old men—and blows the lid off what was previously a secretive industry. Today WWD reports that the book will be re-released next month. "Gross, who had updated the book twice previously, has added 12 pages on the diminution of the modeling business." We can't wait to read his updates. [WWD]
