This week's Summer Fridays postcard is from Stefani Greenfield. The Tulane alum had aspirations of becoming a copywriter or a lyricist, but the fashion world had other plans for her. Greenfield's undeniable sense of style led her to quickly move up the ranks at DKNY. She later went on to Esprit as a VP of merchandising and design, but at the tender age of 27 Greenfield ventured off and launched the wildly popular Scoop boutique, which now has 14 stores across the country. Never one to rest on her laurels, she founded Theodora & Callum and My Next Act with Desiree Gruber, owner of Full Picture and creator of Project Runway. Greenfield also has a line for HSN called Curations with Stefani Greenfield.

Stefani Greenfield: The magical island of Mykonos has had a very special place in my heart for the past 25 years. My family and I go every summer and spend a month with friends from all over the world in a place we have grown to call our second home, the Belvedere Hotel.

We are obsessed with Greek island lifestyle. There’s nothing more chic than lounging at Santa Marina beach club, Kalo Livadi, or a decadent lunch at Nammos at Psarou. Fisherman go from beach to beach daily so we enjoy the only the freshest catch for lunch. We travel by boat around the island of Delos—one of the most important mythological, historical, and archaeological sites in Greece.

The colors of the Aegean Sea, endless hues of blue—what could be more inspiring for a Theodora & Callum print?! Sharing the Mykonos sunset with my husband and daughter never fails to take my breath away. I am so inspired by the myriad of oranges, reds, and tans as they set down behind a mountain into the sea. This great escape is something I wish for all of you.
