Sneak Peek: Carine Roitfeld and Family in Barneys' Fall Campaign

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Months ago, news was leaked that former Vogue Paris editor Carine Roitfeld would be collaborating with Barneys New York on the retailer's fall campaign and catalog—but who'd have thought she'd be modeling in the ads themselves. The Carine's World women's campaign for Barneys this fall will feature Roitfeld, her son Vladimir Restoin-Roitfeld, and her daughter Julia Restoin-Roitfeld, in addition to stylist Marie Amelie Sauve, editor Dasha Zhukova, and models Naomi Campbell and Natasha Poly photographed by Mario Sorrenti. The campaign will break in September magazines and the images will appear in Barneys' store windows.
