"The makeup look at Vivienne Tam is inspired by the beauty of a Japanese Zen garden," said Maybelline New York makeup artist Andy Koh. "The skin is clean and natural while the lashes are long and curled. Metallic eyes and lips give this look a modern 70s vibe."
To get the look, Maybelline's makeup artists used two different shades of Fit Me! Foundation ($7.99) on each model—to create flattering contours and angles (apply the lighter shade on the T-zone). The team also used Eye Studio Color Plush Silk Eyeshadow ($9.99) in Irresistible Ivy—apply the copper color to the upper crease and the outer lower lid for a glowy effect. On the lashes (see main photo, above), the artists used Volum' Express The Falsies ($7.49) mascara in Black Drama on both top and bottom lashes. On the lips: Color Sensational High Shine Lip Color ($7.49) in Coral Luster topped off with Shine Sensational Lip Gloss ($5.99) in Minty Sheer.
