Michael Kors presented his spring 2012 collection today at Lincoln Center, and boy did he pick a theme and run with it. If you can't tell, it's safari—or "afriluxe," according to the show notes. The stand-out pieces were the dresses, which looked more resort vacation than rustic vacation, like a deep-V leopard print dress and the same print in a wispy version (above). Other pieces stood out for different reasons, like a turtleneck sweater that had tears in it and a poncho that looked pretty dirty.
Also: There was a fanny pack or two, and several of the male models were wrapped up in sarongs. Have a peek at 12 looks from the collection after the jump, as well as Kors' inspirational wall posting and a shot of models pretending to be cheetahs or some other safari animal backstage.
