It wasn't enough for Christopher Kane to whip up an ooh- and aah-inducing spring 2012 collection for London Fashion Week, so he also went ahead and did a collaboration with J Brand for resort, the images of which have begun to make their rounds.
The Telegraph has an exclusive first look at the collection, which is pretty heavy on the neon. (Kane likes neon, you know.) The Canadian tuxedo is entirely reimagined here in hot green, pink, and orange, and cut-off shorts that cut off right at the knee are having their moment in the bright color palette too.
The collaboration is a capsule collection, and also features normal-colored denim, like full-length silhouettes in standard black and white. And it looks like this pairing is for keeps: Kane has collaborated with J Brand in the past for their 5 x 5 project, and he tells the Telegraph: "This is something that I can see as a potential long term relationship rather than a short term collaboration."
