Celebrity stylist and reality-TV star Rachel Zoe sat down with the good folks at Intermix to talk about fashion inspirations, life after pregnancy, and her favorite capsule collection pieces (from her own label!) for fall. We're not going to lie, we're kind of obsessed with Ali MacGraw and Brigitte Bardot too:

I find inspiration everywhere, old films, books, music, and travel—mainly Paris. I am inspired by everyone from past fashion icons like Brigitte Bardot and Ali MacGraw to modern influencers like Carine Roitfeld. I also draw inspiration from vintage designers like Coco Chanel, Yves Saint Laurent and Andre Courreges as well as more modern innovators like Marc Jacobs and Alexander McQueen.

Now that I have my son, fashion has become more functional. I keep jewelry very minimal during the day, but always like to play it up at night. I’ve swapped my platforms for wedges, I wear a lot of maxi dresses because they are comfortable and easy yet totally chic. Hats have become a new staple too, I always love a good fedora or floppy brimmed hat—seriously maj—since my morning glam sessions have been cut in half.
