This week, we bring you to the Los Angeles office of fashion sites HauteLook and Sole Society. HauteLook hosts private, limited-time sales on designer goods, and Sole Society offers a plethora of personalized shoe recommendations with the option to purchase any pair for 50 bucks. Naturally, workers from both sites know just how to dress for a day at their fashionable office.
Adam Bernhard, CEO, HauteLook: I call my personal style "prep rock." A little bit classic preppy, a little bit LA rocker.
Adam is wearing a shirt by Cohesive (from HauteLook), Dior jeans, Converse sneakers (from HauteLook), and a Rolex watch.
Style advice: Style is all about attitude. You can have great style without spending a lot of money, and on the flip side, you can always tell when a woman feels uncomfortable—it doesn't matter what label she has on her back.

Karen Graham, Art Director, HauteLook: My style is pretty eclectic: One day I'm more boho, the next day I'm more preppy. I love to mix it up and play with my style, but I always keep the whole look pretty simple and always casual chic. You'll never find me over-accessorizing—less is more for me.
Karen is wearing a dress by DVF (from HauteLook), Sole Society shoes, and a vintage necklace.
Style advice: I absolutely believe that every woman needs at least one great day to night dress. It's worth investing in a great piece with some color, pattern, or details that are fun but still work for the office. Then for evening, just throw on a leather jacket and you're set. Some of my own favorite day-to-night dresses are a bold red and champagne patterned Twelfth Street by Cynthia Vincent dress that I found on HauteLook or my very lady-like silk floral Rebecca Taylor dress.

Talitha Peters, Editorial Director, Sole Society: I'd describe my style as "unexpected." I love to pair pieces that don't immediately seem to go together. If I'm wearing a boho dress, I like an edgy shoe, or wearing a silk blouse with shredded jeans. I love prints and must have a splash of color year-round. No all black for me, and never, never head-to-toe in just one designer! Where's the fun in that?
Talitha is wearing a Parker dress, a blazer by Elizabeth & James (from HauteLook), a tank from Forever 21, Sole Society shoes, a bracelet bought on the beach in Hawaii, a ring from Anthropologie, a Helen Ficalora necklace, and Anna Beck earrings (from HauteLook).
Style advice: I grew up in the Netherlands and still love that effortless, anything-goes style—fortunately for me, it's the perfect LA-beach style as well! When you try too hard or take too long to get ready, it shows. Too polished is so outdated.

Amy Fierstein, Director of Production, HauteLook and Sole Society: My style is defined by modern classics and investment pieces, put together in a casual way. My day can go from the studio to the warehouse, with meetings in between, so it's all about chic wearability for me.
Amy is wearing a Geren Ford blouse, a James Perse tank top (from HauteLook), J Brand jeans (from HauteLook), Cynthia Vincent shoes, a Lizzie Mandler bracelet, her grandmother's antique ring, and a vintage necklace from
"Maddie's Closet, aka my mom."
Style advice: Build up the basics. Spend your money on the things you wear all the time: boots, jeans, tops that are super flattering. With a great basic wardrobe, you can layer on cheaper trend pieces that might only be in for one season but will still look amazing.
