Dior Rumors: Now It's Alex Wang

In the most recent edition of improbable Dior rumors, "insiders" are saying that Alexander Wang could be a choice to replace Galliano. Why? A source says: "For Dior, it's a pretty tricky situation, as the three favourites really can't take the job." The three favorites being Haider Ackermann ("way too edgy"), Marc Jacobs (um, kind of busy) and Riccardo Tisci (happy at Givenchy). So now Alexander Wang's name has been thrown in there—despite the fact that he makes sportswear, or, the opposite of couture. [Vogue UK]
