This season, Paris Fashion Week will be getting a big dose of American. Thanks to generous underwriting by Tommy Hilfiger, the CFDA will be taking their show on the road, bringing their inaugural "Americans in Paris" initiative to the City of Lights.
Designers including Billy Reid, Eddie Borgo, George Esquivel, Gregory Parkinson, Monique Pean, Ohne Titel, Pamela Love, Prabal Gurung, Simon Spurr, and Sophie Theallet will be sharing a showroom space at Galerie Joyce at Palais Royal from October 1st through 3rd during Paris Fashion Week. The hope is to enhance American fashion's profile in Europe, as well as garner these designers international attention from buyers and press who don't travel to New York for fashion week.
