Reports have been flooding in about what kind of extravagant gifts Blue Ivy Carter—who needs no introduction as Beyoncé and Jay Z's child—got for her birth, and there's already been some discrepancies reported as to what the majestic infant actually received. As in, the earlier reports of one $3,500 Lucite crib are now being disputed!
Our sister site found out via the blog Daddy Types that the whole thing might have been press release lies. The Us Weekly story that broke the news of The Crib mentioned that the mattress for it came from NurseryWorks, except NurseryWorks doesn't make a mattress to fit that crib, yet they're probably the ones who paid the publicist anyhow. You can dig through the intel for more clues right here.
Alright, so it's not like she got shafted if she didn't get that crib. The Post adds that she also received a solid-gold rocking horse from Japanese jeweler Ginza Tanaka ($600,000), a PoshTots crib ($20,000), and a Swarovski Crystal high chair ($15,000). Allegedly, in total the richest couple on the planet spent a reported $1.5 million on presents. But wait! All that doesn't equal $1.5 million...
Other sources claim that she got a mini Bugatti. Suri Cruise must be pissed.
