Many mascaras never make it to their second birthdays, let alone their tenth. But in the fickle world of eye makeup, Dior's Diorshow mascara continues to endure. The Maybelline Great Lash of the luxury world is ten years old next month, and to celebrate it got a makeover. Diorshow New Look mascara, named after the fashion house's most famous collection, contains an eyelash-boosting serum.
One reason for the change? A rep for Dior told the Beauty Counter blog that they were influenced by the difference between "Asian eyelashes and Western eyelashes," which makes sense considering how Asia is a huge market for luxury brands.
