Polyvore and Cover Girl Team Up for Makeup Line

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

We love Polyvore as a place to search for new outfit ideas and make inspiration boards. But things are about to get a whole lot more interesting now that the website has teamed up with Cover Girl. The two brands will cosponsor a live online fashion show during Fashion Week, starring four young FIT alums: Lauren Bagliore, Vengsarkar “Ven” Budhu, Sergio Guadarrama, and Dana-Maxx Pomerantz. The models will all be style bloggers, but we won't know who they are until closer to the date of the show.

However, these four designers aren't the only ones scoring something cool. Polyvore members will be able to view the four collections online and create their own sets starring the clothes and accessories. Each designer will pick their favorite set, and the winners will come to New York to watch the show in person. You know what that means...we're all about to spend even more time obsessing on Polyvore.
