Kristen Stewart to Front Balenciaga Fragrance

Claims that Kristen Stewart is "a fashion pariah" haven't stopped designers from showering free clothes upon her, and paparazzi from stalking her every fashion move. And now, she just landed the gig as face of Balenciaga's second-ever fragrance. The as-yet-unnamed scent will be released this fall.

Stewart is a longtime fan of the brand and has worn Balenciaga dresses (including the one pictured right) to lots of events. "Even when I first began to consider fashion and admittedly rarely knew the brand I was wearing, I always recognized and loved Balenciaga," she told WWD. And it sounds like the feeling is mutual, with Balenciaga designer Nicolas Ghesquière saying, "Kristen embodies the modernity of the new Balenciaga fragrance with her unique sensibility and intelligence."

2012 will be an interesting year for Stewart as she takes on her first big non-Twilight role in Snow White and the Huntsman, but it's good to know that she has something to fall back on.
