Trish McEvoy Says That Beauty Brands Have Resortwear Too

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Fashion houses aren't the only ones who have resort collections anymore: beauty brand Trish McEvoy has just launched a resort line—albeit one with bronzers and gel eyeliners instead of maxi dresses. In other words, you can now have the skin and hair to match your vacation-glam outfits.

The nine-piece collection includes lip shimmer, eye definer, and a curling mascara. The color names—Golden Glow, Arabian Nights, Rested, Sand, Coral Shimmer—also evoke thoughts of beach getaways. And when better to plot your next warm vacation than in the middle of a freezing January?
