Now that the Fashion Week scheduling dispute has finally been settled, fashion PR and production giant KCD Worldwide has added another element to the month-long festivities that give editors, buyers, and front-row sitters an alternative to schleping it to the tents (or Milk Studios). Presenting invitation-only, Digital Fashion Shows, the first of which will be Prabal Gurung's inaugural collection for Onward Kashiyama.

The WSJ explains that participating designers will send out passwords to those invited for access to their show, which can be viewed from a computer or a mobile device. Conveniently, these shows will be scheduled in-between the other physical shows, so now attendees will have a solid excuse for only making eye contact with their Blackberrys during breaks. KCD Co-president Ed Filipowski assures that "every journalist will get what they need to review the show," but what they won't get is the parade of B-listers, editors in Miu Miu booties, and the occasional song and dance.
