The Missoni family has been starring in their own ad campaigns ever since they relized how much better looking and more fabulous they are than everyone else, and they continue the trend with the new spring 2012 ads.
This time they invited along family friend Pedro Almodovar, the celebrated Spanish director, who brought along a couple of his friends (actresses Rossy de Palma and Blanca Suarez) and they all got together for tapas and flamenco dancing at Madrid hotspot Villa Rosa.
Missoni creative director Angela Missoni says the shoot wasn't about fashion, so much: "I would like for the images to talk about the company, not only of the product, and become institutional, moving beyond pure fashion photos.” Considering the resulting photos look like snapshots from a drunken brunch (albeit a better looking and way more A-list brunch than we've ever been to), we think the campaign hits the mark.
