The reign of neutrals is officially over. Everyone seems to be in the mood for color this spring, and we're not talking just a bright pop here and there. Neon jeans—as in eye-searing, 1980s, Prince and the Revolution neon—are a staple this spring.
In anticipation of the trend, which should be hitting sidewalks just about the time the last snow melts, we've rounded up five options at five different price points you can buy right now. (Though please note, we do recommend that you wear a shirt with your neon bottoms.)
TEXTILE Elizabeth and James for Shopbop: $225
'80s color, 70s silhouette: Decade hop with this low-rise, wide-leg pair in aqua.
Rag & Bone: $187
Available in hot pink and neon yellow.
Straightforward basic 5-pockets in blinding shads of pink and yellow.
7 for All Mankind: $169
Goodbye, boots: Spring's go-to pumps and ballet flats can join the neon party with these ankle-length skinnies.
AG Jeans "Stilt" Skinny Ankle: $159
Available in highlighter blue and neon yellow.
A brush treatment on the denim makes for a softer texture and a slightly gentler take on the neon trend.
Asos Skinny Jean: $57.30.
Available in neon yellow and neon pink.
At under $60, these are your best bet if you and neon are still in the trial phase of your relationship.
