Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.
For his pre-fall collections, Alexander Wang has decided to stick with what he does best—things that are quite sheer. They can be found in the trusty T line, where this season there's a bevy of buttonups to choose from, alongside the see-through tees. Over in Collection, office/school-girl vests and jackets have the occasional translucent patch, there are burnout lace-pattern dresses showing more skin than lace, and even the line's footwear incorporates the theme, with pointy-toe boots that have a meshy leg to them.
Click through the gallery above for some of Wang's staple looks for pre-fall, and then head to American Apparel to buy a bunch of tank tops to wear under it all, unless you think a fancy bra will do just as well.
