She's been on the cover of Vogue, she's the face of Armani Jeans, there are about a dozen rumored capsule lines she's supposed to be designing, so it's not super shocking that Rihanna is taking on the next fashion frontier. Telly, as the Brits say, is Rihanna's latest venture.
A press release from Sky Living, a UK television channel, has announced that the singer will be the executive producer of a Project Runway-like reality series, in which the winner of the design contest will create the outfit for Rihanna’s upcoming Wireless in Hyde Park performance later this year. And since Rihanna has proved herself willing to wear just about anything on stage, we're anticipating some seriously inventive looks.
Though RiRi's role in the show will be more behind the scenes than in front of the camera, she will be taking "an active role" in casting, while Girls Aloud singer Nicola Roberts will fill the Heidi Klum hosting role. The show will air on Sky Living some time this summer.
