In case you'd forgotten in all the hysteria of the holidays, here's something to look forward to in the cold, bleak month ahead: Jason Wu for Target launches on February 5, and The Moment got their hands on this image of a poplin dress (a mere $40) and satchel ($50) from the much-anticipated collection.
The capsule takes some direct inspiration from French New Wave films and actress Jean Seberg, The Moment is reporting: Expect pleated frocks, sailor-stripes, blouses with neck ties and collars, and tennis skirts.
"My goal was not to duplicate anything from my main collection. Instead I designed completely new clothes and accessories that reflect my taste and have a voice of their own,” Wu says, referring to the collection's vibe as “gamine chic.”
You can go ahead and start counting down the days now.
