Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.
As they've done the past two seasons, Kmart will be bringing its Concierge service back to the poor, tired souls of New York Fashion Week this February. The service aims to come to the rescue of Fashion Week victims tweeting with the hashtag #FashionWeekProblems. Chapped lips, dehydration, stiletto heels broken while practicing your best street style pose—these problems arise during fashion week, and @kmartfashion will be on hand to fix them for you.
Well, not you, actually: only a group of "select influencers" will be conceirged by Kmart. But if you happen to be in this elite group, and you need a bottle of water of a button sewn on, and you tweet with the aforementioned hashtag, a Kmart representative wearing this Chrissie Miller-designed T-shirt will appear and help you out.
The SOPHOMORE designer says of the collaboration, “I love the idea of the Kmart Concierge helping bloggers, influencers and the behind-the-scenes heroes of Fashion Week. It’s such a unique way of giving back.”
Though the T-shirt isn't available for purchase, it will be offered as a gift with purchase (while supplies last) at SOPHOMORE’s 143 Ludlow Street store.
