Abbey Lee Is Making Us Rethink Versace for H&M Resort

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

When we first got wind of the second Versace for H&M line, we weren't so broken up about it not being available in the US. After all, that's a lot of fruit in one outfit. But these behind-the-scenes photos of Abbey Lee Kershaw looking bombshell glam for the ad shoot have us rethinking our original opinion. Suddenly, those cartoon cherries and pineapples look kind of cute and sexy, in a beach-blanket-bingo way. Of course, as a model it's Abbey Lee's job to make clothing of both the wearable and not-so-wearable varieties look enticing, so there's that. But we're definitely ready to give it a second look.
