Nine West Launches a Perfume Whose Bottle Looks Like a Stiletto

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

You heard it here first: shoe/fragrance collabs are a big beauty trend. Aldo Shoes released its first-ever line of fragrances last fall, and soon after legendary French ballet-flat-maker Repetto announced their plans to do a scent. Now, Nine West has launched its first ever fragrance collaboration, a fragrance-and-shoe pair both called Love Fury.

The fragrance is a breezy floral with hints of everyone's current favorite fragance note, amber. The perfume is a light pink color, thus making it the "Love" half. The bottle is the "Fury" part, with a big stiletto-heel shaped topper practically stabbing into the perfume. Don't get that thing too close to your face or you could poke an eye out.
