New Burberry Spring Ads Don't Make British Men Seem Very Sexy

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

More images of Burberry Prorsum's spring/summer ad campaign have surfaced, featuring British actor Eddie Redmayne—the lovestruck lead in My Week with Marilyn—looking very, well, British while rolling around set with model Cara Delevingne. Handsome and chic as both are, we can't help but think the sexy-time poses look a little forced on the Eton-educated Redmayne. He's not complaining, though. "Christopher [Bailey] wanted something playful from the shoot and so Cara and I had a genius couple of days fooling around. Hopefully the enjoyment we had is reflected in the campaign," he said. Well, we're glad the experience wasn't too uncomfortable for him.
