Presenting the Trippiest Tod's Video You'll Probably Ever See

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Luxury footwear and accessories brand Tod's is better known for its fine leathers than its all-night ragers, but the above video by filmmaker Bart Hess on Nowness would like to correct that. The short was inspired by Tod's iconic circle-and-diamonds pattern, which you'll see reflected in just about every shiny surface in the clip—including a model's eyeballs. The film is a part of an invitation-only event that will be held in Paris tonight, so if you just so happened to be invited and are wondering what to expect/wear, here you go.
