Remember when the entire Marc Jacobs spring 2012 collection was stolen while en route to Paris from London? The silver lining there was that it was stolen after the designer's runway show, meaning everyone at least got a glimpse of it before it disappeared to who knows where. Compare that to today's news, in which the entire spring 2013 Hakaan collection was somehow lost by a courier company. The London-based designer was forced to cancel his runway show, which was scheduled to take place tomorrow, in a prime-time slot between Chanel and Valentino.
The Telegraph reports that "each piece will be re-made in time to show press and buyers at an upcoming open day for industry insiders." While that sucks for everybody involved, for the rest of us, it's the perspective that things could always be worse when your Amazon order takes forever to arrive in the mail.
